While I see the best in all seasons of the year, the beauty of travel is that if you don’t like your current weather scenario, you can hop on a plane to a destination in a different climate. The Bahamas is a destination that has always intrigued me, being only 180 miles off the coast of Miami. And if I were seeking to escape the cold winter weather, Atlantis Paradise Island, sounds like a pretty great escape.

Atlantis Paradise Island is resort that has something for everybody: water slides, beaches, spas, wildlife, golf, live entertainment, live entertainment and of course…..food! I’m a traveler that generally likes to be on the move a lot. However, sometimes it’s nice to just relax on a beautiful resort. I can certainly appreciate a great time just enjoying a cocktail on a gorgeous Bahamian beach.

The Atlantis is not officially an all-inclusive Resort; they consider themselves to be full-service resort. They do however offer meal packages and “all-inclusive” packages if you’re the traveler who likes to bundle everything into one price.
