Sad To See Summer Go? Avoid The Cold At Atlantis Paradise Island

Sad To See Summer Go? Avoid The Cold At Atlantis Paradise Island

While I see the best in all seasons of the year, the beauty of travel is that if you don’t like your current weather scenario, you can hop on a plane to a destination in a different climate. And that doesn’t mean you have to jet off to another hemisphere to escape your current weather. Micro-climates and warm oceans are a beautiful thing!

Summer tends to be a favorite season for a lot of folks. So for those of us in North America, the Caribbean offers a quick escape to eternal summer! The Bahamas is a destination that has always intrigued me, being only 180 miles off the coast of Miami. And if I were seeking to escape the cold winter weather, Atlantis Paradise Island, sounds like a pretty great escape.

  1. Were you able to go visit? If you were I was curious about your experience. This just looks like the details on getting there, ect. I do appreciate the SWA shout out 😉

  2. Heard good things but aplays found the price a bit prohibitive considering the cost of packages vs food on its own. Someday maybe….

Also considered doing a day trip from a cruise ship. I only really care about the water park anyway…

  3. Wow, this place looks amazing. I don’t like to just sit in a pool or beach on vacation so I love that it’s got a lot of other things to offer as well, especially water slides!
